Hello. I just purchased a place, and it has diagonal hardwood floors installed in the living room. You'd think it's not a hard question to answer, but I can't decide if I should continue the diagonal installation as the floors are transitioned into the bedrooms. One is off a hall, one is directly off the corner of the living room area. I was told diagonal may make them look small (but they are decent sized anyhow), and I feel like changing them to run straight would look strange for a transition. Has anyone had this experience? What helped you decide?
