[In progress] We have a patio/balcony on the second floor of a three-story complex. Palm trees and other flora rise up from the ground floor to above our unit, so we get a lot of dirt and pollen. currently have a bit of astroturf (there when we bought it) that looks good when clean...which isn't often because of the elements. Thinking of stripping the turf, using a colored concrete stain/finish for easier cleaning, possibly covering part or all of the outside for more privacy, without losing the sunshine for our plants.
