When you have a window without casings you need to add drapes to cover the sides and add interest with a trim down the leading edge. I also like to make the window appear longer by raising the rod 10-12" above the window and taking the treatment to the floor. This will give you a much more luxurious feel and the shade adds an additional layer of interst.

Thank you Durham Designs but this is in a bathroom. I am not keen on putting drapes in there. But it is a great idea for other rooms
