Please help with ideas for furniture placement for this open floor plan. Firstly I didn't want the sofa to face the kitchen as I didn't want guests to have a clear view of that section. So I turned it around and now it doesn't. But it doesn't look so nice to me as it seems to be sticking to the stove fireplace. Now I don't mind anything as look as this living/dining/kitchen looks pulled together and cosy. These are the only furniture pieces I have so far, as I am looking for suggestions before I buy things. The ceiling of this area is very high on the side where the sofa is and on there side are the ceiling windows as you can see, plus windows leading to the balcony. This is a rental apartment so i can't make permanent changes. Ideas for walls, rugs, etc. are welcome. Thanks!
