We are not sure how to create nice clean storage for our entry.

Specs:
12' 11" long
7' 4" wide
ceilings are 11' at the tallest
bottom landing: 6'3" x 7'4"

My husband wants to do architectural details on the ceiling and some type of chandelier.

Flooring will be darker tile or hardwood.

I would like the walls to stay fairly light.

Previously there was an awkwardly sized and placed closet. We ripped that out and extended the stairs the full width of the room.

My thought was do to floor to ceiling closed storage. A 4' bench from the door to the stairs and then the 24" deep storage that followed the stairs up to the opening to house.

My husbands thought was to do smaller, storage with some hooks.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
