This one was provided by our low volt contractor. It's a standard docking station and you should be able to find it online or through a local vendor.

Wondering, has the dock been built into the back splash or is it simply plugged into an outlet. If in fact its built in, is it hard wired to speakers?

Great IPod dock. It has to be a custom install.

Remember that any wire installed behind your finished walls needs to be fire rated. You will often see a FT rating on the wire. cUL stamp and on and on. Make sure your new wiring meets these fire ratings or you can put your home in danger and/or fail your final building inspection.

Whoa!!! It's priced $457.52! Its a good idea but I'm not paying that amount of money for a docking station.

This comment may come off like I'm an APPLE hater but this is not the case. I love my Apple products. That said Apple has something sneaky going on. On three occassions I've bought Knock off car chargers and they always work. ONCE. Then the next day nothing.

I believe Apple has some code worked into their devices to make this happen. A bug that only affects non-Apple products.

If I was going to drop $400+ on a dock it better say "Apple" on it.
