I don't want a typical Theater Room or Man Cave with red/black theme. I really like a mix of natural colors/traditional furnishings and modern patterns. I think my fiancé might kill me if we don't start doing something with this room but I need help!!! So far what I am leaning towards is SW Indigo Batik for the walls and SW Seal Skin for the wall behind the projector screen. White leather sectional and patterned chairs. Basically what I want to accomplish is a super comfortable room for him and his friends to hang out and then us to hang out as a couple and eventually a family with kids. We love the St. Louis Cardinals so accenting would be different shades of blue and red. The love seat that is in there right now was just a freebie so it doesn't have to stay. The room is a little awkward, you walk up the stairs to a large area, turn left and you are in the area we are putting the projector in turn right and there is a bathroom and two bedrooms down a little hallway type area. As or right now I'm think we will build an angled wall with a door to the hallway where the bedroom/bathrooms are for noise control. The wall we want to put the projector on is the one with the skinny door on it and the window to the right, the door just leads to a large unfinished storage area. I need ideas for layout, accents, paint colors (if you don't like my choices or think there is something that may work better). We are working on a budget but if there is a furniture suggestion we are open to it and/or finding an alternative to things we like.
