I want to have panelled walls in my living room - the type that comprise beading/moulding frames, not wooden panels. Does anyone know if there is a formula for their measurements, ie how much space there should be between the moulding and the edge of the wall? How little space is too little to have a moulding panel? I was thinking of the space over the door. I know there are plaster mouldings that I could use; has anyone used wooden beading? Any advice gratefully received!
