As lavish and nice as this home is displayed, and this little family member who is treated like family, and what is displayed here gives a very bad impression. The cute little dog should have been modeled with a beautiful little bed, and not some; so called security box. I also think what is displayed and modeled in this picture is very cruel, and in poor taste on the layout designer's part on displaying this beautiful home. Those small boxes, or so called crates are not to be used for the animal to be locked up in for more than ten minutes, and with a human in the area. People do not think, and this is very bad for any animal. Everything is beautiful, and I think the constructive criticism was needed to bring awareness. Boxes are not necessary, and humans need to get real; how would they like to be placed in one.

Thank you all for your feedback, but the door to this little guy's crate is open. It is clear that he can come and go, in and out as he pleases. Hope everyone can see the design of the laundry room's CUSTOM cabinetry - as was the purpose of displaying this photo on Houzz. Happy Designing!
