cook top venting

I don't see either a pop-up downdraft or overhead vent, but maybe it is there. Is there any venting for the cook top?

    venting is not always required by all city codes

    venting may not be required, like fans in bathrooms with windows, but everyone sure regrets later when they didn't do it...

    The downdraft is a pop up. It is on the side of the cooktop near the middle of the island
