I am remodeling my kitchen and have to make a decison soon about the countertops. Flooring will be a soft gray solid wood. Expensive but worth it. Cabinets are medium brown Schuler from Lowe's. I have had granite and had no problems with cleaning or staining. Today I listened to some home expert stating that stainless is the new best alternative. He said "what do they use in restaurants?" Thoughts and experience would be so appreciated!
