Too much white/grey???

Am I making a mistake designing using too much grey and white in my new home?
1. Kitchen white cabinetry, black island
2. Laundry room cabinets light grey
3. Master bedroom, light grey cabinets, white tile
4. Remaining 2full bathrooms- white cabinets

Worried if I get tired of look I will be in trouble.

Black, white, and gray are classic. You can always change it up with color in accessories!

Not sure how long the trend for gray cabinets will last but if you like it go for it.

I agree with housatthelake. If you genuinely like grays, go for it. If, on the other hand, you're using it because it's in style, find another color you really love.

I love gray plus it's a great neutral as a backdrop to add pops of color....

Gray is a fad. Unless it has a green cast it does not look good with many colors and is not therefore a good neutral, will definitely be dated in a few years. I believe pink and gray were big colors in the 50's that people grew tired of.

When you can find a trend in WalMart and Family Dollar, the trend is already gasping it's last breath. When ever third post on Houzz is about ''finding the perfect grey'' it's reached complete saturation.

At this moment in time go with what YOU thinks looks good. It's your house, aka playground. Later on, repaint cabinets (not floor) if you want

Lol....everything is a "fad":). If you like it, go for it.....the greys I use as neutrals learn more towards the true gray( no green) or bluish gray. Turquoise,navy,black,red,corals...all look great with these grey shades....

Gray and red, or orange, or yellow, or green,,,,great choice for a great base with which to work. Very flexible and, IMO, very smart on your part to keep your palette simple, clean and classy. You can do a lot with it.
