I love these floors. I was wondering something. My contractor just laid white oak flooring in a big room of ours. Trying to figure out a stain color but most of the stains make it too dark I feel. Would I get the same effect here if I just used a poly or something like it?

Thank you for your interest. The Flooring in the photo is a custom white Oak floor. There is no Stain used....this is the natural color of the white oak. We finished this floor with an natural seed oil finish from EUKULA.

So this is what mine looks like at the moment. You’re telling me after they sand this down and get it ready for stain if I use that seed oil it should turn out like what you have?

Yes it will.......but please keep in mind colors in photos on screens can turn out different.......so I don't know what you see on your screen....all I can tell you what we did with this particular white oak floor. I would highly recommend to test it in a small area. Best would be on left over material........the Eukula Seed oil gives it a very intents natural color and a very matte finish......did you try a ultra matte water based polythene finish.......this keeps the natural color from the white oak the lightest.
