There are a variety of latches that can be used to lock a sliding door like this one. We have several on our website that are designed for sliding doors. But a simple hook and eye latch would work as well.

The thing to keep in mind is there will be an offset between the door and jamb, so the latch needs to be installed appropriately for that offset.
