Inserting stainless tile into a white glass backsplash.

For our kitchen backsplash, we have decided on an Optic White Random Brick Glass tile with bright white grout. My tile designer is suggesting randomly replacing one of the glass pieces with a stainless steel pencil tile. I'm worried about how this will look and about scratches to the stainless piece. I'm typically very conservative in my choices so I'm just a little worried. Additionally, I don't want to ruin the white glass tile. Should I leave well enough alone or go for it? See drawing below. Thank you for your time.
