Do you have any exterior photos to show the brick and roof line?

I see it! White paint would allow the brick to simply fade in with the white trim. If you want it to stand out, go to a shade of gray like the siding. Inexpensive ideas to add interest include hanging plants or a sculptural piece from the edge of the roof over the brick wall. Or setting some planters on or in front of the brick wall with tall, narrow shrubs. You could also rework the lead walk with a flagstone or material you like and shape it a bit vs running straight from house to street - that would have more interest than the current concrete. Any of these would add some visual interest that draw the eye to those items vs the low roof line. Does that help?

Thank you for the advice! I definitely thought of redoing the lead walk. I also like the idea of placing the shrubs in front of the brick wall. I am not sure that I am ready to paint the brick. What color would you recommend to use on the wall behind the brick? I don't think that the current greyish color looks good...

Hi tanichkin, I would add some railings for the porch. The entrance could use some focal point such as adding a dormer or even a curved piece to distinguish itself from the rest of the elevation.

Sorry I reversed that. A few ideas on paint - a cafe au lait shade, like the siding in the nice photo from Dytecture, would coordinate well. If you want more color, look at mustards and greens. And get something to test out colors - like posterboard.

Thanks for your advice! I was thinking about beige/cafe latte color as well. Will go to the paint store to get some samples this weekend.
