We have our kitchen laid out with the stove on one side of the island and the fridge and double wall ovens on the other and we have 2 sinks back to back one on either side it works great for us because my husband does the prep and i do the cooking we have 4.5' x9' island and we have the sinks at one end so the rest is clear, 2 stools at the other end and when we entertain we fill one sink with ice so it works very well.
