maybe it's a question of practicality? how easy are they to clean? what kind of finish will hold up best? do they move from side to side? are they easy to use if you are a guest?

I prefer Targa, I love the simple lines linear yet fluid. It also looks easier to clean.

@mousemaker i think they're both pretty practical and guest-friendly, they both have handles on either side of the faucet to adjust temp and pressure.

@14thstreet: good point, i hadn't actually factored in cleaning/maintenance

Really, we'd have to see the other fixtures you have chosen, the wall colors and tile, before we can vote!

Gina,the reason i asked about cleaning and the finish was because if you have hard water, it can make a difference in the life of your fixtures. i learned this the old fashioned way :)

Gina, I am answering simply on my reaction to the faucets and without regard to the rest of the design elements... I love Solar because the raised pedestal at the base of the faucet and handles gives it an artistic quality...like sculpture. I think the other option seems more utilitarian.

I believe the "solar" though modern lends its self to both a modern bath or a transitional (traditional w/ modern/contemporary elements) bath, because it looks like a more updated version of a traditional faucet.

My vote is with Targa as well. Easier to clean. Quite similar to Moen 90º, faucet of choice when I was building.

Graff is a fantastic blend of high quality manufacturing, wonderful team of people to work with, and outstanding designs. All delivered at about 20-25% less than a few of the other big names, but Graff NEVER compromises on quality, and is made in proper proportions. Crafted in Euro, not chinese like some of the others.

Targa - just seems to flow more than the Solar, which seems a little more boxy to me.
