I'm getting ready to paint my kitchen cabinets. I'm thinking of a medium taupe on the bottom and light taupe on the top. (ignore the current counters...they are being re-done in granite) I painted these white 2 1/2 years ago and the paint lasted okay, but I found I had to touch up around the knobs fairly often. And yes, I sanded and primed before I painted. I've always loved Sherwin Williams paints but I'm willing to try something else if the Houzz community advises. Speak to me oh Gurus!
