Since you mentioned the lighting, is it possible to try changing the lightbulbs to cast a different tone? I don't know what type to suggest but I know some light bulbs read more, blue, more yellow, or more true color.

I think it's incandescent and halogen that will cast a more yellow tone. Florescent bulbs cast more green and blue. You can try a brighter wattage too and see if that helps.

I hope you'll post your results as I'd be interested to hear if changing a light bulb helps tame the blue undertones of your gray paint. I got a bunch of blue and grayish blue paint swatches yesterday as I'm planning on upgrading my bathroom. I've seen similar dilemmas to yours on here in the past where the gray read purple but had never seen it till I was comparing the swatches to each other while we waited for the train to pass. I was amazed at the purplish undertones in the grayish blues. The more blue they were, the less of a problem it is.
