Any issues with low clearance above the sink?

I absolutely love the look of the continuous, straight line of cabinets against the wall. But, I'm worried about clearance above the sink. Was this an issue at all in designing this kitchen, or in actual usage? Is it just 18" between counter and cabinets? Thanks!

In this kitchen, the space between the countertop and the upper cabinets is actually 15" rather than the standard 18". Because the kitchen is small and the window limits space above, a smaller backsplash and full-height wall cabinet over the sink were used to maximize storage space. Despite the low headroom, we haven't heard any complaints from the original clients (who loved the kitchen) or the homeowners who moved in after them!
