What are the walls made of/covered with?

This is a beautifully serene bathroom. Can you tell me what the walls are made of? I'm guessing it is all waterproof, or was the shower side treated with something else? Thank you for sharing your great energy efficient home with us!

Very lovely to have teak tray to shower! Can you tell us more about its construction? Like the single piece of glass as well!

I got a sample of supershower and it has a grainy, stucco like texture. your wall in the photo looks smooth. Can you tell me how smooth the finish is?

yes the walls are very smooth. a good plasterer should be able to achieve a smooth finish.

the shower tray was actually made from leftover mahogany decking. the shower pan itself is tiled with inexpensive tiles and slopes to drain. the tray has custom tapered strips to allow the deck to sit level in the sloping pan. the surface boards were fastened from below through the tapered strips, and the strips were then coated in epoxy resin for durability. the entire tray lifts out to make it easier to clean. hope that helps. good luck with your project.

Love the bathroom. Can you provide information on the sink? Also love the cabinetry throughout the house! Can you provide detail about the wood used and if a stain was used?

The sink is a stainless steel restaurant sink purchased through a restaurant supply store.

You would need to have a stucco / plaster contractor provide pricing. It is somewhat dependent on the size, the complexity, and the details desired.

The cabinetry is AC grade Fir Plywood with a clear finish.
