What is the color of the shutters. Love the style too! Are they custom or purchased?

Thanks for your interest in our work. The hand made shutters are Sherwin-Williams "Sable" solid body stain on cypress boards. We typically specify stains for all exterior wood.

I contacted Sherwin-Williams to inquire about the status of the siding color Fjord.
SW response: That specific color Fjord 2250 was discontinued. Color Samples and swatches are not available. However it can still however be tinted at your local Sherwin-Williams store.

Could you possibly share the dimensions of the wood used for the railings? Are they 1X6? So simple yet so beautiful!

Horizontal and vertical members are nominal 2x4 with diagonal members cut down to 1 1/2" x 2 1/2". Rail strength comes from the truss like design. All members are pressure-treated and local codes should be considered. Thanks for your comments.

Caksmith, we appreciate your comment. The interior has not been professionally shot but imagine heart pine floors with 11' tall ceilings, interconnecting rooms, coastal hues of faded blues and yellows with slip covered furnishings, and the smell of gumbo and baguettes.
