Color is completely dependent on the type of light the room gets. If your room faces North it will typically cast cooler. Another key to this is to make sure that the color you chose has a grey or heathered feel. It can then be pink, purple or lavender without being too, too much.
For a 'pinker' lavender with a grey value try Ben Moore's Misty Rose 1360
For a Lavender with a grey note try Sherwin Williams Enchantment 655 and for somewhere in between - try Ben Moore Hidden Sanctuary 1375

We used Benjamin Moore's Lavendar Ice in our daughter's room. Very subtle. 2 walls with Lavendar Ice and 2 walls with Pink Peony, and it's beautiful. Her bedding is the same color scheme as your daughter's and it works really well.

We used Benjamin Moore's White Heaven in our daughter's room. The trim was cream. Her room is similar to the one pictured. It has a skylight and a slanted ceiling. She loved it. Good luck!

Wow! Thank you! I'm searching these colors online and they are fabulous choices! By the way, this is a south facing room. The only light comes from the small-ish dormer window.

I used Sherwin Williams SW6009 Imagine in my laundry room. A very neutral light lavender in a room that also has its only window facing south.
