the edging between the decomposed granite and the stones is a recycled plastic material called Bend - A - Board. it is brown in color, about 1 inch by 4 inches and is pretty stiff material - thus it bends with very nice curves. no kinks ! it usually comes in 20 foot lengths. i secured the board into place with plastic stakes, which i made sure were buried below the level of the DG so that they couldn't be seen. the stone i used for the walkways is called Apache Pebble. the size of the pebbles is 1/2 - 3/4 inch. hope this helps. let me know if you have any more questions.
