Hi thank you for your quick reply. I have attached two photos #1and photo #2of our house and then after are photos of houses in bali with the style and trim we like photos #3 and #4. We like an exterior paint color for the trim that looks like balinese stained wood but obviously in a paint and the cream walls.

If you've found a wood look paint then definitely go for that. Not sure of the technique you would use but here's a tutorial on wood look painting http://www.redouxinteriors.com/2012/07/how-to-make-anything-look-like-real-wood/

Balinese style houses usually go for an off white rather than cream (less yellow undertones in the off white). Have a look at Wattyl- Moody White, Quaker White, Freesia. Dulux- Vivid White. Haymes- Bond White. Definitely get tester pots and try them out on the wall first.

The grey at the front fence looks like it has a lot of blue in it. If you repaint it, consider a grey with green/black (even brown) undertones like Impact NG43 or The Dom by Haymes. Or an olive green like Towering Pine.
Make sure that their is a connection between the colour you choose for the walls and the boundary wall (complementary tones).

Will you be adding any other balinese elements? Shutters, Carved wood screens, white drapes?
