Alright, so here is my dilemma. How many copper (or same type) elements can you have without it becoming overbearing? Got 2 lamps over kitchen table, got one lamp by TV and got a little copper statue. Paintings above couch have some copper in them too, but not too much.

I recently saw some Dalfred gold painted chairs here ( http://blog.krysmelo.com/2014/01/21/dalfred-ikea-bar-stools-makeover/). Thinking of taking this idea and making the chairs with copper accent instead and match to lamps above. Too much? I wanna repaint them anyway. Either in teal (as wall and couch), white (as kitchen) or use some copper accents for the middle ring and bolts, and possibly for the seats themselves as in link. But copper, not gold.

I am sure there is a rule here about using accent color and I am curious if it will look like crap or not if I go copper on the chairs.

From the attached pics, you can see I have 3 colors already used / Brown (floors, furniture), white (kitchen, walls) and teal (accent wall and big couch).

Your thoughts on my copper idea for chairs or some other tips on color of bar stools?
