I agree....just the deer. Hard to avoid the temptation to feel like every surface needs something on it. Everything gets appreciated more with blank spaces.

Those antelopes or whatever they are are so hugely decorative -- nice contrast with simplicity of table, but agree too cluttered in yr photo. What if you take everything else off and add back the candleholders on either side? I do think some height is nice. Alternative: perch one of deer on something to add height (books are so easy for that!).

You need something with height under the art, like what the deer provide, so the art does not appear to be too high over the table.

They're all very nice. Why not do one now and change it up later..... that'll give you a fresh new look from time to time.

I like both ship and deer. However, to keep them in focus and not feel diistracted by other ornaments, use the tall candles (as they're uniform and symmetry draws the eye to the centre) or leave the sides bare.

Yes, take down the candle holders, step back and admire a beautiful console arrangement.

actually i placed tall candle holder as they're uniform and balancing the height of table and gap between table and wall art.

See how the deer fill in the wall space? They are doing that for you. The candles are making a frame around the deer, emphasizing the wall space.

They are beautiful candle holders. Part of me wondered what they would look like together under the table, but then again....it is nice empty there and not sure it would make sense for them to be under the table.

Just the deer, no candleholders. They line up perfectly with the bottom of the artwork, which is not a good idea. I'm also thinking the art is a little to high, but not seeing the entire wall, it's hard to say for sure. But I think I would like it lowered a few inches?

If the art were lowered a little there would be less 'gap' between art and console for you to worry about. I think perhaps because the gap is too big, that you feel you need to take up the space with something?

This is totally a personal preference. You should embrace your need to change things up and change your table top regularly to your liking. Creative people find it is never done. Creativity is an ever moving evolution. It is never done. Evolve when it feels right.
