    We just installed Iron Grey siding on our house and it looks incredible, especially with the arctic white trim around the windows and doors that we used. In certain lighting/angles (bright sunlight) it does have a bit of a green tinge, but for the most part it looks iron grey. Our neighbours have been commenting on how great it looks. It's a great colour and if you are leaning toward Iron Grey, I wouldn't hesitate.

      The siding on this home is a 4" exposure. The trim is Miratec's white.

      Would u say the iron grey is more green or grey tone to it? We are in the process of building and a having a really hard time finding a good blue grey exterior color. We have the sample of iron grey and it looks green to me? Thank for your help,,

      Looks great. We're really happy with our iron grey as well. It changes color in different light and has a blue/ green tinge to it but it's great. We love it.

      Here's the west side of our siding going up. It's Monterey Taupe shakes at the top, for contrast, and iron grey below. You can see how different the color looks in the different light.

      Having the same dilemma but these pictures have convinced me to go with the iron grey.. The next closest color is evening blue but it's just not dark enough.

      Still a work in progress but this pic shows a bit more done. We're doing stone along the bottom.

      Also we went with an iron grey metal roof, shakes are monterey taupe straight shakes, trim is hardie, arctic white. White pillars and railing to.go on deck with white tongue and groove ceiling.

      Merena, What color shingles did you put on the roof of your house? We are doing Hardieplank Iron Gray siding on our farmhouse. I would love to do a standing seam metal roof in silver, but the cost is prohibitive. So I'm thinking of going with a white shingle that mimics the silver look of a metal roof. Either that, or matching the color of the shingle with the siding and going dark gray. Just curious what you did.

      We went with a dark grey metal roof with the same for eaves. The shakes at the told of the house are monterey taupe. Metal is so low maintenance and easy to install.

      The stain color is Minwax #232 "Red Chestnut". We used the same stain on the garage doors, front door, and porch ceiling.
