The walls are a neutral and you'll have to have scaffolding to paint some of them so leave that until you've made other changes. Paint is usually the last item to be chosen after all the fabrics have been selected. Paint can be custom blended to work with your fabrics, but fabrics are not changeable to match or work with paint. You can replace the dated light fixtures in the kitchen and dining area. The cherry cabinets don't look too bad, but do you want to live with the red countertops. Do you want to paint all the trim or live with it for a while?
