Kitchen remodel

I am trying to decide if I should remove the entire wall on the left and put a refrigerator where the existing stove is and add a large island for storage and counter space OR keep part of the wall where the existing refrigerator is and close in the doorway to add a pantry and a blind corner cabinet creating a U shaped kitchen with no island. Thoughts?

It is hard to tell from the picture, but I think opening the kitchen up would be a good idea as the fridge goes look out of place.

Can I have a sketch or layout of the kitchen plan? It's hard to decide just from a perspective picture as shown here. :)

What's your budget? Is that a load bearing wall? Are you replacing the flooring? The reason I ask about the flooring is because if you take down a wall, you're going to have a bare spot on your floor.

We are going to try to match the existing wood flooring. It is not a load bearing wall.

I agree that the fridge looks out of place. My hope is that a stainless steel stove and vent hood will pull a stainless refrigerator into the room.
