Ceiling drop (Fur Down) Creating a Lighting Issue

I am in the process of completing simple updates on this guest bath. The present issue is that I have what's called a "fur down" (ceiling drop) in this room which is making it difficult for me to make decisions concerning light fixture and a mirror. The width of the area is 62 inches and the height from counter to the fur down is 53 inches. I am unable to remove the fur down as it would be out of my budget to re-route at the time. Please help with suggestions!
