well would prefer tiles since they are low maintenance.

i have found a tile, but cannot decipher whether it conforms to the non slip ratings necessary for wet areas. Lots of kids running around so must be non-slip

Pool are is always a very very tricky dilemma when choosing what flooring to go. It seems almost all material becomes very slippery, and the ones that aren't don't feel that great under the feet.

wood tiles are the best option to go in these situations. The maintenance on them is minimal. Just wash them down or sweep them every now and then and apply a coat of UV Inhibiting Oil to keep the color. If you like a silver patina look, like teak on a yacht, don't put any oil and they'll be just fine.

These tiles already exceed the requirements of the ADA for minimum coefficient of friction but if you want an added security they also come in anti-slip cuts. The tiles come in two sizes. 20"x20" or 24"x24", and in a variety of wood such as Ipe, Cumaru, Tigerwood and Massaranduba.
