Was there any issue with pouring the detergent?

We were just placing Samsung machines in a similar, custom unit. But, now that we see how the washer fits in, it seems the tray for the detergent, located at the top left can barely be pulled out enough to pour detergent. I wanted to see if you ran into a similar issue. Also, how much room did you leave behind the dryer for hoses and vents?
