I'm ordering the plan as we speak from Southern Living. I don't think I will be able to do all the special trim in this house - but curious, any idea what this house cost per sq. ft. to build?

David, I'm not the best person to answer that question, but construction costs vary so much in different parts of the country it would be hard to do unless someone has built VERY RECENTLY in your area. The plan that was built in high $ coastal resort will be more expensive than the one that was built in rural Alabama. With that said, You have probably deduced that the Classic Revival is a special plan with many unique (costly) features. I would advise you to talk with local custom builders and find out what the 'sticks and bricks' range per square foot for single story high-end homes with finishes you're looking for is. That will give you a multiplier to start with. Good luck!!
