Our deck is 23 years old. Need to replace it. The pros of the screened in porch are we would use the outside at least eight months out of the year due to no bugs and shade. The cons are the sun would be blocked from my kitchen windows and of course it's more expensive. Also we have two beautiful Cherry trees which would need to be removed since they are so close to the deck. I do not like how a screened in porch looks after it weathers. It looks more like a camp setting. I would prefer something lighter even gray. Any thoughts?
