TV on the wall or inside the wall?

You have a beautiful room, did you put the TV on the finished wall or you build the stone around TV? Thank you

Thank you. I built the TV bracket into the wall so that the depth of the stone was just shy of the bracket mount. This allowed the TV to be within 3/4" of the face of stone, once installed. Still, there is stone behind the TV so my client can change TV sizes without issue, in the future.

I am putting this stone on my TV wall...this was a last minute decision after the wall was done with recessed areas for TV and shelf (fireplace in middle)...what to do on the inside recessed areas which will now expose backer board...bit of dilemma.
