I would put up a big, framed art print that will give balance to the media center on the opposite wall. This would also look less cluttered than a mirror (which will just recast the view of your media center shelves) or ledges.

Tall plant or plants in corners of room. Large japanese screen, or a triptych (picture broken into 3 panels) Room needs so dark contrasts.

Pull the couch off the wall- it adds dimension to the room. Then put an open shelving unit behind the couch and up towards the ceiling. You do not have to cover the whole wall but even just covering a small area will look nice. any of these shelves would most likely work but it depends on your price range- some of them you can change the colors as well. Would love to see a large chandelier in the room, too.

since you have a high ceiling i would recommend you to use several stripes of wallpaper framed

I personally am not fan of "triple art" It somehow looks dated to me. One large piece or a collage IMHO.

Why don't you do something quirky and fun like this octopus triptych? Also love the idea of the chandelier and pulling the couch away from the wall a little bit. The blue in this art piece will off set the colour of your couches beautifully!

Hi inna.. I would recommend large..at least 48" wide by 36" high. But, that can get pricey, so you can do two complementary prints with 24" x 36" and space them close together. JudyG's idea is a very nice option for a more cost effective approach with the wallpaper on boards option.

Thank you everyone again .Once I find something,I'll let you know.I would love to have a chandelier in this room but unfortunately the ceiling and the wiring have to be redone and this is a project of its own.Can you have a look at those hideous lights on the ceiling and give me an idea with what to change them to look more attractive( again without construction)

I think you must add family photo frames, which will look good on that long wall.
