My daughter used to have a shower floor like that. I think it was hard to clean. Agreed, colors are very good but skip the herringbone.

I love the look you are going for. I also vote in to not do the herringbone. Keep the clean look. Please post pictures when the project is done.

I actually have both! I have the colored glass! Love it! I agree with other comments, no herringbone pattern! I also have the river rock floor! Love it too but I'm scrubbing that floor every time I use it!! Of course mine is all white & I see you have multiple colors in your stone so that may save you! This is my beach house so it doesn't get daily use thank goodness, because I'd be ripping up the floor just so I don't have to clean it so much!

I have had the river rock in 2 showers for over 8 years and they still look great. I would recommend a darker grout then the white like a taupe or dark grey I use comet bleach to keep them clean.

Maybe that's my problem, lol I will only use soap & water to clean mine!

LOL, I'm a big fan of powdered comet for shower floors too!!! I don't have river rock, but I've used comet forever to keep shower floors clean.

Thanks everyone...I haven't quite decided yet for sure. Any kind of tile you would never have for a shower wall? What about the floor. I see that tile that looks like wood is very popular now. Anyone know anything about the tile? Thank you

Looks nice the way it is, just make sure you get a good quality river rock and grouting because I've seen some fall apart.

Beautiful selection. Keep it simple-if you decide to install the tile in an offset/brick pattern, then you could do a mix of the glass-all the colors look nice with the pebble. Do you think the glass tiles for the shower walls would be hard to keep clean? Would it show the soap scum etc?

I put river rock in our new bath over 3 years ago. Still looks new. Love it, and it feels wonderful on your feet!
