Crackle tile such as the Stella, Creamy Crackle by Sonoma is a nightmare. It can't be sealed and it sucks up any liquid splashed on it. If the liquid is green juice, wine, balsamic vinegar, washable marker etc. the ONLY way to clean up the tile is to chip it out, replace it and regrout it. The manufacturers don't provide "warnings". Many designers and installers are unaware of this problem when they pick these "crackle" tiles. Pre-soaking these tiles in penetrating sealer does nothing. The liquid stains get physically trapped in the crackle.
