The bricked floor was shown on houzz on another tread. It turns out to be highly porous and hard to keep "clean". If a brick-looking floor is something you are interested in you may want to work with porcelain mimics. If you like the look of the herring bone pattern then you can work with almost any porcelain tile so long as it is a long, narrow rectangle. A herring bone works best when the long edge of the tile/plank is twice the length as it's short edge. These are the correct dimensions to make a herring bone pattern work.
