I am in the process of building a home. I am trying to pick out lighting for the great room. The ceilings are about 20 ft. The room dimensions are 22x25. I am looking at orb chandeliers similar to the Foucault's orb at restoration hardware. I know the formula for calculating the correct light size is to add the room dimensions (which would be 47), but what do you do if you have 2 light fixtures and a 2 story room?
