My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The idea that toddler-height knives exist anywhere makes my skin crawl.

    Thank you for your comment. As we have addressed earlier, this family has grown children and the location of the knife block is not an issue for them. As was mentioned in earlier posts, there are child safety locks on the market that could easily work for this cabinet. For a link to one possible lock that could be used please see the previous comments.

      I love this idea, and am actually thinking about having one installed when we do our kitchen remodel. I don't have kids at home, so I am allowed, correct? There are many people who don't have kids at home, or are capable of installing drawer latches. Why shouldn't a product like this be available.

      Thank you for your inquiry. When the time comes, let your kitchen designer know you want this cabinet so it can be incorporated into your new kitchen design.

      I think it is a great idea, with a child safety lock even if only adults. One never knows when a curious child might be about.

      Yeah this would be a bad idea FOR TERRIBLE PARENTS who don't watch their kids and don't have the sense to teach their kids not to play with knives. Otherwise this seems like a great idea.

      Unless the kids are 2. Like mine, the more u tell her no, the more curious. That doesn't make someone a bad parent. I though this was great though my first thought was my 2 year old
