The kitchen is gutted. We have chosen a birch wood-looking laminate, but now I am getting nervous about choosing a laminate over wood. We are purchasing a Wolf stove, a built-in Kitchen Aid fridge and a stainless steel dishwasher. So, going for a clean, contemporary look. But, we might only live here a few more years. Will the laminate kitchen cabinetry hurt the resale of the house? We are choosing a high-quality laminate that actually costs more than wood.
