You would be wise to hire a contractor, architect or other professional to give you some sort of estimate on what it would cost, and what the new value of the home would be. There are so many variables such as would the roof, electrical, HVAC and the like need to be replaced and/or brought up to current building codes. Someone needs to be right there to inspect the home to see all that needs doing to give you an honest answer.
