No the stones are grays

This floor stain will run into the kitchen and the cabinets in the center island are white and the others are dark gray. Do you think the dark stain will be too dark or clash?

i like the lighter stain- seems to blend with the softer colors

They look brown to orange-brown on my monitor.

I would tend to say lighter but probably away from orange.

Doesn't stain darken with age? Any pros out there who could weigh in? We always go with a shade lighter in paint or stain because it seems so much darker when it fills up a room. I love these color combinations. To be sure if you will like it, do a search on Houzz and see if that helps you get an idea of the end result.
