I would paint it the same color to keep the space from feeling like a tunnel maybe even a darker shade. Add lots of great lighting and a big mirror much larger than you think make this space a real conversation piece I love doing powder rooms you can have some real fun.

Agree in most cases the ceiling would be painted white.
