Contemporary Tile Overload!

We are moving into a brand new contemporary brownstone and every bathroom has floor-to-ceiling tile. Besides colorful towels, how can I add color and spice up the decor?? I love art, plants, etc but don't know how to incorporate or hang. Please help Houzz friends!!!
