    The island countertop is 5" walnut planks glued together and sealed with a marine grade polyurethane finish. The top measures 6'6" x 6'0" and is 1 1/2" thick with an ogee edge. The sink is a under mounted single bowl stainless steel sink, and the little silver dot up see to the right of the faucet is an air switch to control the garbage disposal.
