I live on 52 acres of land in Upstate NY. Got infected with Lyme back in 2002 and have since been in a long process of healing. I can't do gardening work. I'm wanting to transform the area around my house into something wild but beautiful that needs little tending and to put down Blue Stone paths to meander through safely. I know nothing of plants, grew up in the city. Up where I live it's extremely challenging to find anyone who will show up regularly, let alone assist in designing something with native grasses, etc. I'd appreciate advice on possible solutions. I could afford someone from the NYC to come in, only I don't have the resource budget or energy to make mistakes. I would need someone who is simple, budget conscious and interested to discover the best and easiest solutions; meaning, like a great sculptor who discovers what the piece of marble is rather than trying to create what he wants out of it.
